Germany x Reader - Sneaking Kisses
The sound of a door creaking open resonated within the walls of the large house, followed by the sound of rustling clothes and a sigh. "I'm home," Ludwig called out gruffly, not even bothering to take off his jacket—instead, he just settled for unbuttoning it, before making his way to his room and collapsing onto his waiting bed.
Ears perking as you heard Ludwig return home, you abandoned your task at hand, which had been folding his clothes, and approached his bedroom.
You had been Ludwig's house maid for a while now; after having been short of money, all thanks to your father, you had started to search for a job. For months yo

'Drabble #15 from 'All I want for Christmas' series'
It was those of once upon a December days. The capital city of Germany was enveloped in a thick layer of white, fluffy snowflakes still making their way to the ground into a dizzy, still mesmerizing waltz.
The sky was painted in soft greys, smokey blacks and here and there could be seen delicate navy blues.
The skeletical branches seemed to almost snap under the weight of white powder, but somehow they managed to support it.Some just got rid of it with the help of crispy wind which blew cold above the shiny stars, skattering them onto the

Germany x Reader: A Christmas Surprise
It was Christmas Eve. You and your husband of seven months were on your way over to Alfred's house for a party that night. The backseat of Ludwig's BMW had the presents and your duffle bag for the overnight stay. Both of you were looking forward to seeing your friends all together since your marriage.
You and Ludwig Beilschmidt were classmates in college. Both of you had crushes on the other. One day during fall semester, you ran into class late and the only seat left was next to him. There was an awkward moment between you two before Ludwig mustered up the courage to talk to you. Ever since that day, the two of you were joined at the hip. Y
Regrets
Putrid realization kept the man's pace heavy and slow. His legs and arms slipped through the misery for a seconds only to return to the source. Forward, his mind cried, the only place to go is forward.
His head was shriveled down to his shoulders, daring the sun to peck at his unexposed neck. His eyes lacked all brilliance. Only heartache thrived in the once lively blue orbs. His physical appearance demonstrated well the immense sorrow he felt within.
He muttered all the apologies that came too late as he treaded his way to the park. So many opportunities, and he never used them.
He couldn't ev

The sky proved a perfect opposition to the miserable gray rubble below. Two steps, more rock, three steps, more broken china. Two more steps and I had to stop.
"58."
And so body count grows.
One more destroyed village. Hundreds of crushed dreams. And the guilt.
Gott! The guilt might kill me if the Allies don't.
However, my god is an ironic one, with a sense of humor. For there, lying in the gray and black specks of what once was life is a bright, flourishing cornflower. It's lovely petals pay no heed to the dead it fertilizes from. One of its small leaves dares to even manag

Falls The Shadow (Hunter!Germany x Reader)~ Part 5
Ludwig Beilschmidt ground his teeth when he was annoyed. He also exhaled loudly out of his nose like a snorting bull. And he muttered to himself.
You knew this, because he had been doing it continuously since you had set out with him.
It was getting rather annoying.
The two of you trudged through the undergrowth of the forest, mostly avoiding eye contact and only speaking when absolutely necessary. No doubt he was still in something of a whirl of bewilderment and annoyance that a young girl had managed to argue her way into coming with him, all with some simple use of logic. You could scarcely believe it yourself, but something in you had o

She comes to you in a dream.
It's Dagmar. She seems to be suspended in the air, somehow, a wingless angel floating above you. She is dressed in robes of the purest white, calling to mind freshly-fallen snow, or the cool sliver of the moon as it continues to wane. She had never worn such finery when alive- even the clothes she was buried in weren't half as nice. She looks beautiful, an angel wearing a familiar face. It hurts your chest to see her, so serenely accepting over her situation, so peaceful in the face of death. It is as if she has left you all over again.
"Sister..." she says, her voice drifting towards you, echoing. Echoing despi

You stood with your mouth open- for a moment, all you could do was gape at the gleaming crossbow in Ludwig's hands.
"I-"
"I told you to go home!" Ludwig said angrily, his deep voice loud in the darkness, "Vhere you not listening to me?"
He glared down at you, with all the fury of an avenging angel, his features like marble, gaze piercing. You forced yourself to straighten up, even though you could feel the urge to back away and cower tugging insistently at you.
"You shouldn't have turned me away," you retorted, body automatically on the defensive and you folded your arms across your chest, a poor barrier between the two of you.
"So you t

Falls the Shadow (Hunter!Germany x Reader) ~Part 2
For days, all the villagers talked about was Ludwig Beilschmidt. Whispers trailed behind him wherever he went, though the stoic blonde mostly kept to himself- you saw him conferring with Mayor and the village watchmen. You saw Ludwig a lot, if only from a distance, a flicker of coat there, a blonde head in the distance there...
This made sense, since you were following him.
Since your sister had perished, people had been avoiding you, likely because they simply had no idea what to say. At first, you resented it, feeling more alone than ever, as if you had been encased in ice, unable to cry out or move, numb and immobile. However, since Ludw

The girl was running.
Her bare feet where sore and filthy from detritus littering the forest floor, her clumsy footfalls causing twigs to snap loudly beneath her, like bones. Spindly tree limbs above her seemed to be stretching towards the moon, as if they were trying to grab it. The girl's dress was damp and continuously snagged on the brambles that sprouted forth from the earth, the ripping of fabric almost unbearably loud to her ears. In her haste, she fell, crying out as her palms scraped the rough stones embedded in the dirt. She sobbed as she scrambled to her feet again, pain throbbing in her palms and knee like fresh burns. Her lungs
